The Agriturismo Tenuta Borgio lays up on a hill, about 350 mt. a.s.l., only 4.5 miles away from Ascoli Piceno city of art, famous for the "Quintana" knights jousting, its several Romanesque churches, Medieval towers, fine Renaissance squares, interesting museums and, last but not least, the worldwide famous "Stuffed Olives Ascoli Style", and "Anisetta Meletti", an anise flavoured liqueur.
Only one mile's away, the town of Venarotta, with many shops, excellent restaurants and pizzerias.
Within a 15 miles radius our guests can easily reach the wide sandy beaches of the Palm Trees Riviera, by the Adriatic Sea, with the cities of San Benedetto del Tronto and Grottammare, both awarded with the FEE's Blue Flag.
It is also easy to go and visit some of the nearby Medieval towns, all members of “The Most Beautiful Villages in Italy”’s club: Offida, Ripatransone, Montefiore dell'Aso, as well as the many wineries, which produce the excellent pecorino, passerina and rosso piceno superiore  wines.
Driving about 10 miles inland you can enter the Sibillini National Park, the "Azure Mountains", as the poet Leopardi loved to call them, showing uncontaminated landscapes, where you will be able to enjoy exciting hiking experiences to the Vettore Mountain, the highest in the Sibillini Park, or the plains of Castelluccio. We will be pleased to provide to our guests any further information they wish.
On request, we can also organize guided cultural and/or nature tours for you.
